Ibertel has played a key role in the execution of the submarine cable project connecting Santander, Spain, with the United States, in collaboration with Telxius Cable, one of the leading telecommunications infrastructure companies worldwide.
Our participation has focused on the terrestrial segment of the project, where we have been responsible for the development of the technical project, obtaining licenses and permits, coordinating safety and health, as well as directing the project. These services have been essential to ensure that the onshore infrastructure meets all technical, regulatory, and safety requirements, guaranteeing an efficient and trouble-free implementation.
This project is of great relevance, as it strengthens transatlantic interconnection capacity, promoting the development and expansion of telecommunications globally.
